Thai Government questioned about Human Rights

Six national governments raised questions at the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) yesterday about Thailand’s human rights record. The focus of the questions relates to the crackdown of protesters and political activists during the last 18 months and specific concerns were raised about the abuse of Article 112 Lese Majeste and the Computer Crime Act to limit freedome of expression.
