Protest in Bangkok

Yesterday, Workers’ Organization for Democracy (WOD) demonstrators in front
of Government House and UN office to demand the release of Somyot
Pruksakasemsuk. Somyot was arrested on charges of lese majeste, on April 30, 2554 and is currently still
detained in prison at this. The protest, attended by labour activists and media workers was to raise the profile of Somyot’s case and all the other political prisoners interned in the prison.
