Thai PM to review Lese Majeste

“The cabinet received recommendations and in order to create an atmosphere for
reconciliation and in line with the rule of law… the government agrees to
review all criminal charges and lese majeste cases to ensure fair
investigations,”

 

This is a statement made on Tuesday by Yingluck Shinawatra in response to the second report by the Truth for Reconciliation Commission. The Thai PM also committed to look into requests for bail by those unknown numbers currently detained under Lese Majeste
